50/50 is a collection of music and sound collaborations made by Lisa Marr and friends from around the world.

We’re doing it for love…

Love of the love that can make the world just a little bit brighter.

Love of the friends and music and creative connections that forever sustain and delight us.

Love of the songs made to be sung out loud and passed around on mix tapes. Songs that come from a lifelong love of words, pressed up again each other or flung around all over the place.
Songs sprung from found sounds and the inspiration of the everyday; from snippets of simple melodies that drift through the mind like little clouds during long walks. Spur of the moment songs and percolating-for-years songs. Other people’s songs. Songs collaboratively written and recorded as celebrations of life on earth, as tender moments in time, as sonic embodiments of dear ones gone but never forgotten.

Every song is gift, and at the heart of every gift is gratitude.
